Ms. Janik's Student's Egg Drop Projects

Ms. Janik    6th Period Chemistry Class - Lab was started on September 13, 2013.

The students have started off the school year learning the scientific method.  In an effort to utilize this method to solve a problem the students were given a goal to accomplish.  Each student must create a 25cm x 25cm x 25cm structure that is lightweight and can protect an egg from a 4-5 meter drop.

Here are some of the initial designs and students in action:

I had some students stop by after school on Friday to test out there design and document their findings with each test.  I look forward to seeing some great projects evolve over time.

Hopefully, after this weekend, students will have tested their designs and changed them to be more effective structures.
